What’s Brewing in Voiceclubs?
When we introduced Voiceclubs earlier this year, we hoped they’d bring like-minded communities closer together and they have. These intimate spaces have quickly become the most engaging format on Arré Voice, driving some of the highest per-user stream time.
What Our Community Is Asking For
Voicepools have been live for just over three months, and the feedback has been loud and clear: users love them. But they also want more.
Some requests that stood out:
- “Can I attach images to my voice?”
- “We’d love a comments section.”
- “Can I reply with another voice?”
- “Can we turn Voicepools into podcasts or YouTube videos?”
Beyond the features, there’s a strong undercurrent: Users crave interest-driven spaces where conversations feel personal and relatable. Smaller chat groups. Private clubs. Communities with real connection. And so, we got to work.
What We’ve Built Next
1. Voiceclubs: Now in Your Hands
We’re now letting everyone on the platform create their own Voiceclubs. And the response? Massive. In just a week, we’ve seen dozens of clubs crop up, across interests, geographies, and social circles. It’s helping surface new content, fresh voices, and deeper engagement.
2. Voicepools: Now Inside Clubs
We’ve also enabled Voicepools within Voiceclubs, turning these clubs into full-fledged ecosystems. Conversations can now evolve into threads, with more perspectives and richer context.
How Users Are Making It Their Own
In Korean Klubhouse, a Tamil-speaking Voiceclub members are riffing on K-dramas, music, and fandom moments. In cinema-focused clubs, voice reviews are being posted minutes after a film’s release. Meanwhile, education-focused clubs are abuzz with tips, peer advice, and revision hacks. Each club becomes a mini-universe, curated by and for its own people

The Real Reason We’re Doing This
Every new user who joins a social platform faces the same question: Who do I listen to first? And immediately after: Why should I care? Without an answer, it’s easy to bounce. That’s why we’ve moved Voicepools to the homepage, to make great content easier to stumble upon. But now, we’re going a step further. With Voiceclubs, we’re giving users a chance to start in spaces where they already belong. A familiar voice. A shared reference. A sense of “this is my crowd.” That’s how a stranger becomes a regular. Which brings us back to two questions we always ask ourselves:
- How can we help you hear more from your circle, every day?
- How can we surface more relevant voices, by people who think like you?
Voiceclubs might just be the beginning of that answer.
